Eyeglass Status Update:
After one year of daily use, these spectacles remain in the same state as the day they were finished!

Wood. It’s not just for furniture any more. I hereby testify that it is possible to fashion lightweight, comfortable, and somewhat durable eyeglass frames out of wood. Bubinga was used for its strength, stained black, and coated with epoxy resin. The end joints are aluminum into which steel pins were set.

Bring us your your old lenses- or new ones. Order a custom frame that will set you apart from the masses.

11.30.09 on 2:44 pmhow are you? and thanks for looking at our site. yep, these specs are one of a kind. i broke my glasses. they were semi-rimless, so there was no way to repair them. in an act of desperation, i began to fashion some frames out of the closest thing around-WOOD. when it looked like i might actually get the lenses to fit, i figured this may actually work. i knew the frames would need to be a bit chunky because of the material so i tried my best to impart a little style. took a while to get used to, but so far they’re still in one piece.
