Exterior walnut doors

This pair of doors was commissioned by a Charlottesville resident.  They feature a convex contour inside and out, and copper accents with hand formed 1/8″ copper plate latch covers. The walnut was cut from the owner’s property and dried locally. Wood is stained with a medium brown walnut, coated in phenolic resin and UV protective spar varnish.
